This Refreshing Coconut Orange Glow drink (often referred to as an ‘Adrenal Cocktail’) is the perfect natural energy booster to beat the afternoon slump. Packed with Vitamin C from fresh oranges, potassium from coconut water, and essential minerals from sea salt, it hydrates you on a cellular level and supports healthy, glowing skin. It tastes like a tropical mocktail but works like a wellness tonic!

  • Total Time: 5
  • Yield: 1 drink

Ingredients

— The Glow Drink —

½ cup fresh squeezed orange juice (about 1–2 oranges)

½ cup coconut water (unsweetened)

2 tablespoons coconut cream or full-fat coconut milk (for creaminess)

1 scoop collagen peptides (optional, for skin health)

¼ teaspoon cream of tartar (natural source of potassium)

1 pinch pink Himalayan salt or sea salt

½ cup ice cubes

— Garnish —

Orange slice

Fresh mint sprig

Instructions

1. **Squeeze:** Freshly squeeze the oranges. Fresh juice makes a huge difference in flavor compared to bottled concentrate.

2. **Combine:** In a shaker bottle, blender, or mason jar, combine the fresh orange juice, coconut water, coconut cream, collagen powder (if using), cream of tartar, and the pinch of sea salt.

3. **Mix:** Shake vigorously or blend for 10–15 seconds until the powders are fully dissolved and the coconut cream creates a frothy, creamy texture.

4. **Pour:** Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the orange-coconut mixture over the ice.

5. **Serve:** Garnish with a slice of orange and fresh mint. Drink immediately for the best nutrient absorption.

Notes

Why Cream of Tartar? It is a byproduct of winemaking that happens to be packed with potassium, an essential electrolyte that balances sodium in the body.

The ‘Glow’ Factor: The combination of Vitamin C (orange) and healthy fats (coconut cream) helps your body produce collagen, promoting skin elasticity and a natural glow.

Dairy-Free: This recipe is naturally dairy-free and vegan (if you omit bovine collagen or use marine collagen).

No Coconut Cream? You can skip it for a lighter, clearer juice drink, but the fat helps stabilize blood sugar spikes from the fruit juice.
